    Our Story:

Pro Pickleball Gear was born on the courts and raised under sails. Founded by passionate pickleball players who happen to also be avid sailors. We saw an opportunity to blend America's fastest-growing sport with a deep commitment to social good.

Inspired by Sail to Shelter, a non-profit dedicated to the transformation of retired super yacht sails into humanitarian aid, PPG partnered with S2S Gear to transform deadstock sail materials into unique, lightweight, performance pickleball gear made intentionally for this game. Materials range from bright racing sail laminates to durable code zero sail cloth. All of it was salvaged from landfill.

Pickleball just got upcycled. From coastal courts in California to tournament circuits nationwide, we equip players with great looking professional-grade gear made from material salvaged from landfill while Sail to Shelter repurposes retired maxi sails into
shade and shelter around the world.

One swing at a time, we're building community and communities both on and off the court.

Sail To Shelter: The Mother Ship

S2S Gear Founder, Angela Abshier started off-shore sailboat racing in 2018.

When she discovered that 97% of all sails end up and landfill, she made it her mission to create global systems of change and a vibrant second-use  economy.

From using retired superyacht sails for humanitarian aid, to using deadstock windsurf material to design your new favorite tote, she finds a use for all of it.

A portion of all proceeds goes to  support the sister non-profit, Sail to Shelter. www.sailtoshelter.org.
